FULTON 55: Another one you got an early heads-up on is this Binational Rock Concert. Fresno bands Distrito Torre and The Burners merging with Mexico City's Torreblanca to make one culturally rich night of good music. And it's FREE! Details:

TOWER THEATRE: Them folks at Diehardz Music have been bringing shows to Fresno and creating shows for locals, for a while now. This one may be their biggest yet as they welcome The Wailers. Local backing coming from Patrick Contreras, Merlinda Espinosa, The Dirty Sanchez (last show!) and More Than Without.
FULTON 55: Sometimes you'll see show like this at Audie's or Fulton pop in on a Sunday. Good shows with touring bands that are up-and-coming, but sadly it's on a Sunday and they kinda get missed. Sucks but true. At least there's a good option for the hardcore music fan that doesn't mind a Sunday:

Sorry Friday night Tokyo Garden karaoke singers, there will be ACTUAL live music up in TG this week. It'll Grow Back is partying on behalf of their new album "Warps Your Mind". It shall be epic. Hide & Seek will be doing a pop-up show too, The Quiet Americans and Dale & Jocey are playing as well.

There are plenty of things to do with those returning Fresnans in town for a Holiday visit. Washington St. is at Save Mart Center tonight, three dollar hockey at Selland, Idaho is at Bulldog Stadium Saturday. And there is good local music all weekend.

Three gravy-good shows this holiday week at Tokyo Garden make us thankful we don't have to leave town. Let's focus on tonight's show since Bandgeek (plus Ed Stewart and Mike Oz) will fill in the rest.
Tonight it's the acoustic version of Malcolm Sosa's new project, College Kids. Plus High Winds and the high entertainment of Brian Kenney Fresno. This evening's show is also a benifit for the indie paper The Undercurrent (and it would appear they need it since they lost their website). [9:30 $5 21+]
