We just had a lot of fun with this one. Too much? Yes. Annoying sometimes? Yes. But good times. Dorktown's first ever guest, Aaron "The La Selva Beach Connection" comes back and gets rude with the gang. As usual we talk (over each other) about: Fresno, Clovis, craft beer, beer beer, Gold Lays, sexy Armenians, extra holes, other podcasts and so on. KUPPAJOE'S: Expect big things from... From Indian Lakes this year. They've released some new music and are going out on tour to support. One of the area's best alt bands for sure. Good stuff showing with them as well: K-sera, Via Coma and Corsair. Details:
AUDIE'S OLYMPIC: Ol timey swinging Fresnans, The Old Tire Swingers, have been touring across the pond (for realz) and are finally back home to recharge before SXSW. Time to party with Brother Luke And The Comrades and Still Stoked. Ought to be a good one:

In case you haven't heard, local foodie website, Taste Fresno, has teamed up with the city of Fresno to encourage Fresnans (and maybe a Clovisian here and there) to eat local. It's called Local Bites.
Once a month they pick a locally owned food eating place to highlight and have a meet-up. Mayor Swear shows up along with other Fresno hot shots and normal shots. They chow, bullshit, have a good time. Wednesday night it's Santa Fe Basque's turn to host. Find out more info here and by watching these two kids eat:

Friday night at Fulton 55 local podcaster, Dirty Dowdy, is starting a new Fresno holiday tradition with the "Festivus Festival". Lots of Festivus inspired events (like Feats Of Strength) will be happening plus plenty of local comedians, some porn stars hanging out, live podcasting and good local music from Session, From The Fallen and Dislodic.
Fans of Seinfeld don't need Festivus explained to them, but in case you do:

Time for another Bartender Challenge from Creative Fresno. You take two (in this case four) Fresnans from whatever and have them bartend against each other for a shift, to see who can earn the most tips. Bartender with the most tips get to brag they were able to raise the most amount of money for Creative Fresno's Mural Project.
Always a cool event and this one has some extra interest as it pits two North Of Shaw Fresnans (Amy Huerta and Austin Ewell) against two South Of Shaw-ers (Eliot Balch and Richard Caglia). We think maybe we can figure out which side has more money, but which side has more givers? Find out at BB's tonight.
