Joel Robert Melton's stuff be described as low-fi indie space art alt rock. Sure, whatever that is. Doesn't matter, it's nice to listen to whatever you want to call it. That said, we wouldn't recommend playing it on a long sleepy drive home or working on night crew at Vons, as you may nod off. But it's very good and not something you hear in Fresno every day. Highlights for us include "Withdraws", "Elsewhen" and "Evil Thing, Spitting Light".
