Tonight, maybe you're going to see some burlesque or heading to Audie's to see this, but want to see something different before it. We suggest going a few doors up from Audie's (then to the back alley), and check out a crazy mix of post-punk, death metal, folk, country and grindcore at The Captive:
Fresno's, Cabin Fire, Mane Horse, Moth Voices, Blackwater, Bridges Grow, Vulgar, and a band that claims to be from Montreal but we suspect not: Oh Canada. The lineup really gets crazy with touring Alabama country/folk artist Colin Bugbee plus 'Bama grindcore-ers, Dead Heroes.
And because this lineup is so weird, look at Mane Horse clowning atop parking garages in Downtown Fresno:
