CREATIVE FRESNO 'BLENDER' - This month's hangout for Fresno creative minded folks is happening at the brand spanking new Iron Bird Cafe. Really any and all Fresnans (and maybe even a Clovisian) are encouraged to attend. This one is the first one in recent memory that won't have booze. Can a Blender be a success without alcohol? We'll find out.

FRESNO FUEGO - Our own soccer stars that nearly
beat the San Jose Quakes of the bigtime MLS team, is playing the mucho
popular Chivas USA at Chukchansi Park. Game starts at 7.
THE PULSE - If you consider listening to the radio something to do (and we obviously do) then you'll want to listen to KFSR 90.7 at noon, as the weekly show titled The Pulse will be interviewing Smartagious dudes like Travis Sheridan:

CENTRAL SECTION BASKETBALL FINALS - It's a pretty huge thing for high school basketball as teams from all over Central California will be at Selland Area Friday and Saturday to determine who is the best around. Games start at 2 today and run all through Saturday.
BLOSSOM TRAIL - We challenge you to find a more scenic drive through orchards in the world. Yeah, we said it. So, guess this means we have a WORLD CLASS tourist attraction. You can even drink!
ROGUE FESTIVAL - You probably know all about it from us telling you, to the Beehive coverage to Fresno Famous to 31 Days to Rogue Website itself. It's a lot of preforming and general creative and entertaining artistness and it runs into next weekend too!
DIAMOND DOGS - For the first time in the Coach Batesole era, the Fresno State baseball team is off to a good start. In town this weekend is Pac10 bitches the Oregon Ducks.

TASTE FRESNO RADIO - Again we have some more radio listening to do. James Collier of TasteFresno.com is starting his own radio show centered around local foodies. Check it out on KFSR 90.7 from 10 to 11.
REEL PRIDE OSCAR - The pride folks are back again to party with Oscar at the Landmark. Everyone buys a ticket [proceeds benefit Reel Pride] to hang out and watch the Oscar telecast together. Check all the info.
QUEST FOR THE THORNE CUP - The Fresno Monster hockey team has made it to the next round of playoffs as they face Phoenix (Idaho [Boise] lost and robbed us a rival city battle). It's the start of a best of three:
