Apparently, the last show ever, at the all ages venue The Exit, happened on Monday. MySpace told us, so it must be true. Yep.
We just can't decide if this is a good or bad thing. Really, never heard a true positive note about this place. Never. Buuuut, The Exit had a lot of great bands come through. Bands that would not have had a place to play in town otherwise (I guess that's one positive note).
The Exit (formally The Belmont) even had some great drama from touring band Scary Kids Scaring Kids.
So, is a troubled (and very hot) music venue closing bad because there is one less place for bands to play? Or good, because the place was stark and in a shitty spot with no AC and did little promotion, anyway.
