That's it, Fresno! That's it! There is just too much damn stuff going on (not even including The Rogue) tonight. Pretty soon, it's going to take the whole friggin week to write all this stuff up:
CLUB FRED'S: It has become apparent that Fresno loves it some Smiths/Morrissey tributing as This Charming Band returns to Fred's - Smiths tribute bands frequently pack Fred's, just ask E-Stew. [Time: 9 Cost: 12]
STARLINE: Rogue Late-Night continues with Justin Stie & the Trees. [Time 11:30 Cost 5]
ZAPPS PARK: Fresno's Notown Roller Derby girls are partying at Zapps tonight with Hadean, Rites of Retribution and Wax Flowers. [Time: 9 Cost: 8]
TOKYO GARDEN: It's another "Quiet" [acoustic] show at Tokyo, this time featuring Laura Gibson, Circles and Circles and Wheels Of Fortune. Laura is a Portlander (we'll try not to hold that against her) and got a nice album review from Aquarium Drunkard... so I guess that means she's cool and stuff. [Time 9:30 Cost: 5]
KUPPAJOE'S: Picture Atlantic and the loudly buzzing Chandeliers roll through Fresno and will be playing with The Kid's International (their final show - what's up with that?) and Goodbye Hidden Betty. Check out the Flier for more deets. [Time: 7 Cost: 7]
FRESNO STATE: It's Senior Night at the Save Mart Center (good thing the Bulldogs brought back Dwight O'Neil since he's their only senior) as the dogs will play Idaho. Love him or hate him, this is Dwight's last game at Save Mart Center.
There are even more shows going on but we've got to stop sometime.
