Saturday Fresgeek: Indoor Smog is Better than Outdoor

Going out on a Tuesday night is tough. Many thanks to those that braved an early weeknight out for our podcast party. All the bands were solid and the Fresno bloggeraderie was rampant.
The Fresno bloggeraderie continues today with great party related posts from the Beehive's Will and indie blogger Ed Stewart. Much better job than we did. But we gave it a shot. Check our video of all four bands that played Tuesday night:
Just in case you aren't sick of the myspace messages and Fresno blogsphere posting [It's Mike and Heather's blogsphere, I'm just trying to write in it] we'd like to remind you our podcast is having its three year anniversary party tonight at Starline in the Tower District. Look at the flier, it tells all.
Chrysalis, Tokyo Death March, It'll Grow Back and The Overdubs will be playing and we will be watching.
This is your chance to tell us we suck, in person, for just five bucks. That's a friggin deal. And don't worry, we won't get your money, that's for the folks putting it on. We'll take your beer donations though - blogging and podcasting makes you very thirsty.
Also, we will be recording for Dorktown Episode 62 all night so if you want to be on it, talk to me.
[UPDATE: Door will likely open by 9:15, first band (probably Chrysalis) will start close to 9:30. Check the comments for any more updates and don't worry if you get there early because the Starline Grill and Livingstones, next door, will be serving...ya lushes]
*For those who care, we'll be updating this post with probable band lineup times and any other show news, whenever it becomes available.
Since we were lame and didn't post a Fresgeek Weekend this time, we'll preview next week:
Beer. Food. Downtown. Beer. Cleavage. Music. Beer. Riot Police.
A Fresno favorite for shitfaced assholes, Sudz in the City, is Saturday May 24th at The Chuck. Every drunk idiot in town will be in attendance...we'll see ya there.
The Taste & Toast of the Tower sucks for non-winos. Yeah I said it, big whoop, wanna fight about it?
But I guess it's not meant for the beer folk. That's in a couple Saturdays. Yes, there was food and tea too, but when you've already tasted the tower (many times), you just want to sit and have a real meal.
It was still fun though, seeing new and familiar faces roaming the district and enjoying themselves. Plenty of pics and a small vid' from Thursday, after the break:
