Saturday Fresgeek: Indoor Smog is Better than Outdoor
This is what you're doing tonight to get in out of the smoke:

Bloggeraderie Month continues with our leading Friday-in-Fresno pick: Fresnocentric will be all over Chinatown's Full Circle Brewery for Suicide Lounge.
Don't forget, Mike Oz will have more fliers and here are a few more (clickable) Friday picks:
Since we were lame and didn't post a Fresgeek Weekend this time, we'll preview next week:
Beer. Food. Downtown. Beer. Cleavage. Music. Beer. Riot Police.
A Fresno favorite for shitfaced assholes, Sudz in the City, is Saturday May 24th at The Chuck. Every drunk idiot in town will be in attendance...we'll see ya there.
This past Sunday, FresnoFamous.com was gracious enough to kick out some Grizzlies tixs to TheFresnan.com. We gave Famous nothing in return. Well, we do help with this thing.
Check some video of Sunday's Chucker experience:
And peep some pics after the break...
Until there is such a thing as BlogHop every month in Fresno, this will have to do:
May is kicking off wtih Art Hop. That includes things like Bike Hop, Muralists at Yoshi NOW, movies at Arte Americas, blogger Ed Luv displaying his art and Rademacher at (where else) Tokyo Garden.
Rademacher will not be alone. They play with Nic Freitas, David Dondero and El Olio Wolof.
In case ya don't know what Rademacher is all about, check the vid' below.
*Videos of all bands after the break:
We missed a busy Saturday night Downtown. Too busy checking out what Northeast Fresno had to offer - it offers ample mediocreness.
That wasn't the case downtown with all of this:
The Fresno Coyote's home opener at Selland.
Evelyn Glennie world renown solo percussionist at Saroyan.
Smog City Roller Girls at Valdez Hall.
Fresno Fuego soccer at Chukchansi Park.
Tattoo Expo at the Convention Center.
Switchblade 327 at Milano's.
Steve Kuykendall and Jerry with Acoustic Highway at Full Circle Brewery.
Ultra Lounge 2039 had DJ Randy Mark West.
Smokehouse had DJ Dave Harris and DJ Shake.
Tonight. The Fulton Mall. Hot guys playing music. Actually, I dunno if they're hot, that's what I'm told.
Victory Jump will be playing at Milano's inside the outside Fulton Mall. So get down there at eight and see if this hot rumor is true.
A reader of The Fresnan shared a elevator with Nicole Garcia from KMPH, and just a half hour before saw Malcolm Sosa from Rademacher at Cafe Corazon. It pays to hang downtown sometimes.
The reader felt Nicole "...looks better in person than on TV." It seems that most our newscasters are hotter in person. I've seen Graciela (yeah, she's at one-name status) and Jennifer Brice around and they are even hotter in person.
If ya got some dope for us, give it up dammit: thedope@thefresnan.com
