Big show tonight at Fulton 55. It's with Fresno indie rock strong band, Achievement House. Plus a frequent Fresno visitor: The Silent Comedy (they tore up Fulton 55 last time). Last and not least, L.A. based alt/indie/rock/pop band Saint Motel.
We were privileged enough to talk to lead singer A/J Jackson as the band road to SLO before heading to Fresno. We recorded it and it would be great to listen to but the sound is real rough due to our faulty equipment. If you're hardcore you can listen to it here but you're going to get annoyed, so don't ... sorry and stuff.
Some of what we learned from Mr. Jackson is:
- This isn't Saint Motel's first trip to Fresno. They came and played Tokyo Garden once with Rademacher and had to get through a snow storm on the Grapevine to do it, showing up just as they were schedule to go on.
- They love touring with the Silent Comedy and they're cool and fun dudes.
- Live shows are a big deal to them and they like to make lasting impressions.
- El Matador Beach in Malibu is a good beach to be at.
