It's interesting that Audie's Olympic has recently chosen Tuesday to have their "Indie Tuesday" night. Interesting because Starline has had an unofficially official indie music night on Tuesdays for quite some time. Could be some friendly rivalry type of competition, or serious competition or just one club not paying attention to the other.
Usually Audie's plays indie music with a DJ but tonight it's genuine live indie/shoegazing music with Fresno's gazzers the Sleepover Disaster with special SF guests, Geographer. It's a free show, it starts at 9:30 and there will be DJ's spinnin stuff throughout.
Find out more about tonight's guests, Geographer:
- With a great interview from Stranger Dance.
- A show review from Performer Mag (4th one down).
- Featured as a band you need to hear now on Spin.com.
Check out Geographer's creepy dancing, single shot video "Can't You Wait" (that guy in the blue should really cut his hair).
But what about Starline? Ironically enough, Starline isn't having its normal live indie music night as metallcious touring bands Skeletonwitch, Saviours, Trap Them, At Our Heels and Moses are playing. [Cost:10 Doors: 8:30 - ALL AGES]
Now THAT is a metal lineup. Just look at how metal the tour poster is:
