It's been a long time coming but downtown just might have a hot spot with some legs. Hero's Sports Lounge and Pizza had their Grand Opening this weekend and it was well attended and well blogged. Long waits for tables suggests they are actually pulling people in from *gasp* NORTH OF SHAW. That may be the biggest challenge for any Downtown business.
But Hero's better listen to Fresno's Internets on this one and make sure their staff is attentive. Otherwise, that big-opening-weekend-momentum will quickly die off and it will be back to River Park for the Northies.
