After you've wandered around the Extreme Makeover, Fresno location (one street south of Dakota between Palm and Fruit... trust me, with all the lights and police presence there you can't miss it) you might want to do some of this stuff:
Fresno's top metal band, HateFX, will be playing at the Lucky 13 (Ashlan and 99). Not real sure if we can endorse this venue - honestly haven't been there. But maybe the presence of The Dead Garden and Grooveyard will help us overcome our venue fears. And hey, their flier flashes... I think that means it will be good and stuff.
KuppaJoes will have a fully altrock packed lineup with FresReedly band A Current Affair playing with a Whittier band currently touring the West, Sleep For Sleepers. Making this a full card is, all the way from
Wichita, Abandon Kansas and the possibly breaking-up-last-show-playing Hanford band Fallen Pilot.
For those not into tonight's music selections or want something to do beforehand, Fresno Filmworks is showing a movie at Tower Theater. It's French. It's winning film festival awards and stuff. It's about Christmas. It's French.
And now a video from Wichita's Abandon Kansas just because the lead singer stands funny when he plays his guitar and has a weird-as-shit haircut:
